Sierra Slack joined the women's lacrosse coaching staff in the spring of 2021. She was named the Interm head Coach in the fall of 2022 when Evan Mager resigned as head coach.


In the 2023 season, Slack proceed to help led the women's lacrosse program to a 9-9 overall record, with a 7-1 MAC Freedom conference record. The interm head coach saw numerous awards for her student-athletes being handed out including four Devils being named All-MAC Freedom First team and one named to All-MAC Freedom Second team.


Prior to FDU

Slack coached two years as the assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Occidental College. In 2019 she contributed to a 7-3 in conference record, helping to earn the title of SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year.


Playing Experience

A 2018 Occidental College grad, Slack led the Tigers as a two-time captain and four year starter. Over her four years, she earned her name on the career leader board as Oxy’s career leader in goals (204) and points (283). Slack was chosen to First Team All-Region and First Team All-SCIAC in 2018, 2017, and 2015 as well as Second Team All-Region and Second Team All-SCIAC in 2016.


Slack earned the Roy Dennis Scholar-Athlete Award, the highest honor in the athletics department, given to the senior athlete who has achieved the most success in athletics and academics.
